There are a couple of small, playful things that I refer to or use almost every day. I wanted to gather them together just in case you were looking for someone to give you permission (Permission Slips!), or aren’t exactly sure what you need (Qualities of Desire!), or just want to fuck around a little bit. Permission Slips

If you’ve ever needed a reason to take a nap, leave a meeting early, or go on a field trip, then you need a Permission Slip. You can give them to your friend, or your boss, or your lover! Sometimes, I need a list to help me figure out what I’m missing, what I need, or simply to remind me of all the pleasure of living sensually.

Why? Because they are perfect metaphors for your desires, hopes, wishes and dreams. Because they are so fun to try and hold on to during Belly Nata. Because creating them can be rather relaxing. Because it’s rather exhilarating to make something small and cute and then be able to smoosh it into your heart, or give it to a child, or watch it float away in the bath tub.
